Alone for Christmas-and What to do about it

Bah Hum Bug

Ok, so your alone? Does any of the following represent your situation?
  •  Maybe you are recently seperated?
  • Going through a Divorce?
  • Lost your lifemate or close family member?
  • Made poor Choices?
  • Unable to forgive yourself or others?
  • Complain to much?
  • All around Negative about everything?
I truly understand!  We are creatures of relationships, and major holidays just cement that truth for us. It is easy to allow trials by fire and tribulations to steal our joy and zeal for life.

The alone feeling is of a personal choice that you are making right now in this moment, you and only you can stop the feeling of anxiety and loneliness.  You maybe right and justified in your mood and that is ok, realize this is only temporary and will not last.

Cheer Up! How?

The fastest easiest way is to do any of the following:
  • Remember the good times from the past
  • Sing Christmas Songs
  • Call or email someone and tell them Merry Christmas, even if it is a Stranger
  • Watch a funny show, or go to youtube.com and find something there
  • Forgive yourself
  • Say this often with feeling, this too shall pass, it is only temporary my best days are in front of me, I am grateful to be alive!
  • Find a community of people who appreciate you
Be Creative! You are the author, actor and stunt man of your life :-)

So if you are feeling like the grinch, do the opposite and trick yourself into enjoying this day, I promise Next Christmas will be far better.  We all have good and bad times, if your breathing, then your apart of this journey called life, sometimes your on the mountain tops and sometimes your in the valley.

Be of Good Cheer, we were put here to enjoy life to the fullest.  Smiling in the middle of bad times shows that you are secure in the knowing that all will be ok.  Your breakthrough is just around the corner.

If no one has told you this, Merry Christmas and have a Wonderful New Year...one by design, not by default. You are special and you have talents of greatness in you that are dying to be unleashed on the planet and mankind...

Let it out, I want to see it!

Remember, your just one choice away from your destiny. Choose wisely, and wear that smile wonderfully, it looks great on you...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours,
John Pate

P.S. I am following the same advice above, I am currently in a seperation and at a hotel, so I feel why you are reading this article..just know you are loved and who's birthday this is, Jesus Christ has already paid the ultimate price for you and me...He knows all your cares, drop them at his feet and breath a relief breath knowing that all will be ok, what you and I are going through is not a shock to him, he knew this moment before we were even born..tell him your hurts, victories etc...he will understand, just let him do his work and remember to smile, your still alive and he is still on the throne.
